The increasingly complex use of the internet can cause vulnerabilities to cyber attacks in information security, which include aspects of confidentiality, integrity, and service availability, so that it can disrupt the performance of public service delivery. The systematic literature review research method was carried out because of the large amount of information and data regarding cyber security strategies. This can be traced through various information in books, scientific journals, newspapers, magazines, as well as sources of information from web pages/websites via the internet. This method is important in analyzing the concept of cyber security strategy in Indonesia. The obstacles that the government has are expired devices that are still used on local government networks, which may not have the latest updates, security devices such as antiviruses have expired, human resources have not fully supported this cybersecurity. Indonesia needs policies that regulate all elements related to cyber security. However, unfortunately, so far Musrenbang activities at all levels still face low participation from women's groups, in fact their participation tends to be considered only symbolic. As a consequence, many planned programs are gender biased, where discussions are dominated by infrastructure and economic development plans. Based on this, the author is interested in comparing the level of women's participation in the Village Development Planning Conference (Musrenbangdes) in Gampong Beurawe and Gampong Jawa which have quite different levels of development to see the level of women's participation in Musrenbangdes in the two gampongs. Apart from that, we will see what factors influence high or low participation in the two gampongs. This research uses a comparative analysis method with a qualitative approach and data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation obtained from the two variables studied. The results of this research show that the level of women's participation in Gampong Beurawe is better than the level of women's participation in Gampong Jawa in the Musrenbangdes in both gampongs. However, despite its benefits, social media platforms also pose risks, with cyberbullying emerging as a prevalent and concerning issue. This article reviews incidence, forms, consequences, and approaches to promoting safer online environments in Nigeria. Using a qualitative research design, a comprehensive literature review and thematic analysis of secondary sources were conducted. The findings revealed that cyberbullying is prevalent in Nigeria and exists in various forms such as outing, trickery, trolling, and verbal and visual/sexual cyberbullying. Meanwhile, the phenomenon has negative emotional and psychological consequences. The review highlights the lack of awareness and understanding of cyberbullying among stakeholders, leading to the underestimation and underreporting of incidents. This emphasizes the need for specific policies and comprehensive preventive measures. While the current legislation addresses certain aspects of cyberbullying, a dedicated policy on cyberbullying management is lacking. To promote safer online environments, this study suggests involving various stakeholders and developing tailored prevention and intervention strategies. This includes educating students and staff on cyberbullying, implementing reporting mechanisms, and providing support systems. Further research is needed to explore the role of social media platforms in cyberbullying experiences, involvement of technology companies and stakeholders, and effective strategies for prevention and intervention.
2023-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Al-Ijtima`i: International Journal of Government and Social Sciencehttps://journal32.ar-raniry.ac.id/jai/article/view/2645THE INTERSECTION OF ISLAM AND POLITICS IN INDONESIA'S LOCAL AUTONOMY ERA2024-01-28T17:33:02+00:00Mukrimin Mukriminmukrimin@iaingorontalo.ac.id
The article examines the impact of local governance on Islam and politics in Indonesia, examining how decentralization of power has allowed local politicians to collaborate with Islamic organizations and parties to affect local policy. Local officials have been accused of Islamization, which entails promoting Islamic ideals and practices through governmental policy. The article examines the issue of mixing religion and politics, stressing that some Indonesians feel Islam should be crucial in the country's political landscape. In contrast, others believe religion and politics should be kept separate. After reviewing the many perspectives on Islam and politics in Indonesia, the article finishes by underlining the need for a more harmonious interaction between these two sectors. It emphasizes the existence of inter-religious conflicts in Indonesia, some of which have been fuelled by politicians' exploitation of sectarianism to further their interests. As a result, the paper suggests that politicians and policymakers adopt a more inclusive approach that respects religious diversity and encourages communication among different religious groups. This essay proposes that education and the media can promote inter-religious harmony and tolerance, resulting in a more peaceful and prosperous society.
2023-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Al-Ijtima`i: International Journal of Government and Social Science
